Jermaine Sparks started his Youth Advocate/Rehabilitation Specialist career as Para-Educator in the local school district for 8 years. He later was offered a career being a Program Manager for several Rehabilitation Centers, in Oregon, Georgia and Florida. His heart has always been to help rebuild his community and to assist those living with mental health issues, homelessness, and substance abuse disorders. He started a non- profit “The Dream Out Loud Project”, which is geared towards helping youth develop coping skills through creativity. This program was successful in rehabilitating gang affiliated, drug using youth, putting focus on the art of break dancing, which led to them, at schools and local shows in the community.
Jermaine has served as a Life coach, Youth Mentor, Youth Pastor and Motivational Speaker. His motivational cooking shows and “Life’s Truth” videos has helped many youth overcome the stigmas of living with depression, and substance abuse disorders. He has traveled across the nation sharing the message of hope to schools, charities, youth rallies and more
He is an advocate of the LGBTQ community and being a part of that community has overcome many adversities to find his place in life.
